How it works
Every new commercial space needs a post-construction clean, then someone to clean it every week. Permits show you those spaces weeks before they open.
We read every permit
Each week we pull every building permit the City of Toronto issued: houses, condos, signs, plumbing, all of it.
We keep the ones worth your time
Homes, condos, government buildings and small jobs are filtered out. What's left is ranked: clinics, offices, restaurants and stores first.
You get the list on Monday
An email with a clear table and a spreadsheet you can sort, keep and hand to whoever does your sales.
What a list looks like
A few rows from a recent week. A full list has about 20.
| # | Address | Space | Work | Est. value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2300 Yonge St | Dental office | Interior alterations | $500,000 |
| 2 | 3401 Dufferin St | Restaurant | Interior alterations | $700,000 |
| 3 | 161 Bay St | Office | Interior alterations | $2,426,158 |
| 4 | 70 University Ave | Office | Interior alterations | $2,000,000 |
| 5 | 2388 Jane St | Golf club | Interior alterations | $1,000,000 |
The full list also shows the date each permit was issued and the builder or contractor's name when the permit lists one.

Questions
Isn't permit data public anyway?
Yes, and that's why we can offer it. But the City publishes thousands of permits a month in a raw database. We do the reading, filtering and ranking every week so you get the 20 that matter in five minutes instead of hours.
What does "one cleaning company per area" mean?
We only take on a limited number of cleaning companies, and never two that compete for the same work in the same part of the city. If your area is taken, we'll tell you before you start.
Which areas do you cover?
The City of Toronto today, including North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke. Mississauga, Brampton and Vaughan are coming. Tell us where you work and we'll let you know.
How do I pay, and how do I cancel?
After your free trial it's $199 a month by e-transfer or invoice. There's no contract: reply "cancel" to any email and we'll stop.
Do you sell lists for other trades?
Commercial cleaning is our first list. Lists for other trades that new commercial spaces need are planned. Email us if you'd like one for your business.
